pre-flight boredom yay!

So I'm packed, sitting pretty in a relatively clean flat, but still need to kill another seven hours before the journey to the hammer commences at 6am. And sleeping in that time? Yeah, right, I don't change my bizarre sleep schedule for nobody.

The perimeters of today's game:
1.) Put your music player on shuffle
2.) Press forward for each question.
3.) Use the song title as the answer to the questions below.

1.) How am I feeling today? Patti Smith - 'Gloria - In Excelsis Deo (Live 2005 recording)' (why not, grim yet vigorous, I can dig)
2.) How do I feel about getting married? Dvorak, 'Symphony No. 7 in D Minor, Op. 70- Scherzo (Vivace)' (what? not quite as hard-nosed as my view really is, but nicely ambivalent i guess?)
3.) What is my best friend's theme song? Nirvana, 'Lounge Act' (mm-kay)
4.) What is/was highschool like? Rachmaniov, 'Hymn to the Mother of God' from the Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom (what, is this a fucking joke?)
5.) What is the best thing about me? Barenaked Ladies, 'Crazy' ('climing the walls of my mind is like climbing a jungle gym'... yep, that works)
6.) How is today going to be? Coldplay, 'Yellow' (mildly depressing? sure)
7.) What is in store for this weekend? Depeche Mode, 'Comatose' (oh, c'mon, i know how to party!!! although... 'slipping in and sliding out of conscious feeling' sorta applies)
8.) What song describes my parents? NIck Cave and the Bad Seeds, 'Still in Love' (this is actually creepily applicable, moving on.)
9.) How is my life going? Kaiser Chiefs, 'Oh My God' (I never would have thought of this one, but yeah, it kinda works too.)
10.) What song will they play at my funeral? Neil Finn, 'Last To Know' (rofl)
11.) How does the world see me? Crowded House, 'Distant Sun' (probably a touch more flattering than is really the case, but the destructive aspect is nice ^^)
12.) What do my friends really think of me? Devo, 'Whip It' (YES!!! omg, that's too funny)
13.) Do people secretly lust after me? Sloan, 'Take Good Care of the Poor Boy' (hm, can I take that for a yes?)
14.) How can I make myself happy? Diana Krall, 'When I Look in Your Eyes' (by listening to melancholy jazz music? well, i do enjoy it...)
15.) What should I do with my life? Amphetameanies, 'Point Blank' (go to Glasgow and get pissed? yes, yes i should.)
16.) Will I ever have children? Les Triplettes De Belleville, 'Poursuite' (for the uninitiated, this is music from a car chase scene... is that answer enough?)
17.) What is some good advice? Radiohead, 'My Iron Lung' (hmn, I guess it is, at that)
18.) What do I think my current theme song is? Adrian Sherwood/Graham Fagan, 'Auld Lang Syne c/w The Slave's Lament' (wow, that's obscure, a Glasgow artist's reggae composition of Robbie Burns - it's a fantastic track though, I'll take it.)
19.) What does everyone else think my current theme song is? Scissor Sisters, 'A Message from Ms. Matronic' (heh, not even a song, but I'll be they do find it applicable, the wankers)
20.) What type of men/women do you like? Bloc Party, 'A Reckoning' (heh, yeah)
21.) Will you get married? Kaiser Chiefs, 'You Can Have It All' (yeah, without getting married, that's for sure)
22.) What should I do with my love life? Muse, 'Exo-Politics' (so keep doing what i'm doing now? as in nothing? yeah, I dig that)
23.) And if that doesn't work? Oh Brother, Where Art Thou, 'I Am A Man of Constant Sorrow' (heh, guess that's fair enough - that'll likely be the end result if 22. does work out, lol)
24.) Where will you live? Sloan, 'Snowsuit Sound' (I did want to move back to Canada one day anyway, so good call there)
25.) What will your dying words be? The Flaming Lips, 'In The Morning Of The Magicians' (mm, i can like that)
