^ title says it all.

Well, my first two weeks at school really sucked. Today was acutally probably the best day I've had so far. You know what my treat is for surviving this week? Sin City and a three-choclate drumstick! Yes!!! It was all worth it!! (I have yet to watch Sin City, but I'll be doing that tonight. ^_^)

Spoilers ahead for the Robert Englund Phantom. If you want to watch it and not be surprised, read on.

Alrighty, so I finally watched Robert Englund's Phantom... Let me say one thing (and a thousand more), it was not based on Gaston Leroux's novel at all. Nothing really coincided. There was maybe a few resemblances, but that was it. Robert Englund could not play Erik (I refuse to spell it with a c). Erik is supposed to be a musical genius (and a genius in every other way), but Englund made him out to be some sort of crazy killing machine. Erik could kill. He just didn't do it to ever single person he crossed paths with. Also, Erik wore a mask!!!! How could they not have a mask?! And, Erik did have skin on his face, it was just really thin and partchment-like. There was no random-skin pealing off. *twitch* Christine did not have sex with Erik, nor with Raoul (I refuse to call him "Richard"). Englund succeeded in making me like Raoul, and actually wanting him to win (*gasp*), but then... HE DIES!!! I was all worked up, thinking I would finally go with the guy who won, and RAOUL DIED! *sigh* If you were still going for Erik by that point, that made the movie worth while, I'm sure.

Now, I have to admit it was an interesting story line, and if portrayed correctly, probably could've been really good. But, it wasn't. I liked half of the ending (her going back and finding "Erik" and then you finding out he's been alive the whole time), but they ruined that too (her finding out about him and then killing him). I also really liked that song that was in "Don Juan Triumphant". I thought it was very beautiful, if nothing else in the movie was.

Oh, and some of the killings were unbelieveable for me. Seriously, someone who is skinned isn't going to live long - if even surviving being skinned. My point: Joseph Buquet being found by Carlotta in her dressing room, begging for help from within her closet. Seriously, he wouldn't be able to do that. He'd be long dead (especially since I'm guessing it was at least an hour after he was skinned, considering she had the look of having been in there for awhile). Then, when he killed the rat dude, somehow the rats magically climbed up the wall and started eating his face. My, isn't that interesting? Last, when he killed the police inspector's helper. He ripped out his heart, and yet the guy was still moving after that (eyes widening in horror, etc.).

It was interesting, though, over all, and I didn't hate it, because I doubt I could hate anything that has something to do with Phantom.

Oh, never watch that right before you go to bed. It gives you nightmares. *twitch*

The spoilers are over.

So, school happenings. I'll give the short version. I don't like most my teachers, and I can swear some of them are on crack. Last Friday the school's power went out at 10:30 in the morning (on the hottest day this month, conviently), so that meant no air conditioner, etc. Sounds like fun, huh? Agh... That was the worst thing that could have possibly happened. Well, at least we can say it really was hell... Hmm... That's really all for now. I think I'll be updating more often now.

Alrighty, so here's to pimping mine and darkelf19's HP RPG. It's called _levicorpus and it is set during the Marauder's era. Plenty of characters are still open. I hope to see a bunch of people there. ^_^ (Or I will secretly murder you all in your sleep. ^^).

That was a joke, btw.

P.S. I saw Red Eye last Saturday. OMG IT WAS PERFECT!!! I absolutely adore it and Cillian Murphy now! <-- I think I have a new obsession. It also had Rachel McAdams (one of my favorite actresses) who did an excellent job. Murphy is such a good bad guy (sexy as well). He was good in Batman Begins but purely amazing in this.
