[Thread] doomed from the start

What: Mello finally comes to a therapy session, and is not exactly pleased with the good doctor Mikami.

Tap, tap, tap. The noise of fingertips beating against the desk in perfect rhythm was the only noise in Mikami's small office. Music distracted him from his work, but silence caused stress, especially when he was waiting for a problem patient. Mello, the one who had nearly undone his work with B - and the thought of B brought up an entirely different and equally problematic set of memories that only increased his stress.
The drumming helped calm him slightly. Setting up something organized and rhythmic, even if it was simple, seemed to help him organize and gather his thoughts. Hopefully Mello would attend the session, and he could begin to get Mello the help he needed. Antipsychotics would, quite probably, be involved in some capacity.
But planning cures without a patient was pointless, and so there was no point in considering potential cures yet. The only option he had, then, was to wait and drum his fingertips until the problem patient arrived.
