It was almost Christmas, and the town was beginning to brighten up, with lights here, and trees there. Kururu smiled as she walked along the sidewalk, stepping on the light snow on the concrete. The wind was blowing fairly hard, and it ruffled her scarf here and there at times.
Kururu wrapped the silk scarf a bit tighter. It was getting colder than it was, not that it wasn't already. What she had expected to be a crisp noon walk ended up becoming a bit windy and cold.
"I'd better return to the school." Kururu thought to herself. She continued walking.
