Misao's head snapped up when he heard the familiar voice and the soft knock. She quickly recognized it as Azuma's voice. Brushing a strand of long dark hair behind her ear, she straightened up as she finished putting on a silver necklace that had once belonged to her mother. The little round locket hanging from the necklace held the picture of her parents and her when she was barely one. It was one of the few things that she had left of her parents and she cherished it very much. Casting one last glance at the picture, she closed the locket and allowed the chain to fall against her clothed chest ( ... )

He wished that she would just hurry up. People were watching. It was really a mystery for him why girls really took so long to change. Azuma was the type to prepare his clothes the night before. But when she finally came out, she at least made it worth the wait. She looked cute in a tomboyish way but he always disliked girls that were too feminine. But he would rather die than EVER admit that to her ( ... )

Funny enough it seemed that she had gotten used to Azuma' manners. She neither flinched nor did she back away when he touched her hair. There weren't any signs of being uncomfortable either, instead she found it normal...and she also realized that she might just be getting weirder. A small smile was her response to his compliment, if you could call it that, not to mention she doubted he meant what he said...and yet she didn't care. This was just a game to both of them and she would not take him seriously ( ... )

"My apologies, Misao. I had some Student Council work to do and I didn't want to keep a lady waiting," he said, bowing gracefully. At her compliment, he gave a radiant smile. "Thank you, that is very nice of you." But he knew that she wasn't very serious about it. They were the same. They were playing a game.

He followed her gaze to a couple of girls behind him. They didn't look like the girls that usually followed him, nor did they look like one of the Angels, well... more like demons actually. He hoped that they were just curious onlookers. He bent down and whispered, "Let's get out of here before they start playing detective." There were obvious traces of irritation in his voice.

He rolled his eyes at the mention of the Angels. "Please don't remind me. They have been giving me trouble since I arrived here," then he grinned. "Besides, you don't really care about being hated, do you? I think you rather like the idea of being hated by those... brainless, zombie fangirls...."

Always the perfect gentleman, it made her almost giggle. She leaned in slightly towards him as he whispered to her that they should leave. Annoyance could be heard in his voice and this time she did giggle. "Beauty can be such a cross to bear," she whispered amusedly to him ( ... )

He almost smirked. "That is one way of saying that it is a pain in the ass." He raked his hand through his hair, tiredly. He made sure that his voice was only low enough for Misao to hear. He took her hand and led her to the elevator, the opposite side of where the girls were.

At her mischievous grin, he grinned too. "My, my...since when did we become so wicked? At least we have one thing in common," he replied. He was slowly taking off his mask now that the hallway was empty and knowing that he didn't really need to fake anything with Misao. "I enjoy watching those girls make fools of themselves. Those Angels scared a few girls off just for talking to me." He wasn't really worried about Misao, he knew that the girl was not going to be scared off very easily.

"Do you mind if we drop by the liquor store first?" He pressed the button for the first floor. "I need to pick up a specific label to send to Japan."

She winked this time. "Many has happened in a year," she told him cryptically. Oh, this has become quite an enjoyable game. Even if she was playing around, it was her way of learning how to treat people like Azuma. She would meet many of those when she took over the oniwabanshu and she needed to be prepared ( ... )

"Oh really?" Eyebrows raised at that. "I can't wait to hear about it then." He patted her on the head playfully. "The little kid decided to grow horns I see. Don't grow them too much. They might become too heavy for your small body to carry ( ... )

"You know I will bite that hand of yours one of these days," she told him flashing her teeth and she would. It wouldn't be the first time that she bit someone. "Perhaps I had these horns for some time already, I just pretended to be a innocent little girl." She flashed him an innocent wide look for effect ( ... )

"So the weasel became a wildcat?" he smirked. They were already making her way out of the gates. "True. You were far from innocent even then, wildcat. You were as frisky as a weasel and as mischievous as a monkey. That innocent look doesn't work on me."

He gave an innocent look. "By ugly, do you mean like being a maleficent Prince? Don't worry, you aren't my type anyway, But I admit that I find you intriguing. I won't lie to you." he laughed. There had been a girl he liked and he left her back in Japan. He suspected that she was dating his bestfriend. "Maybe it is because you don't fawn all over me. I don't really know." He then began to look her up and down, with a teasing look in his eyes. "I must say though, that your fashion sense had greatly improved over the year. I applaud you for that."

"Well, I am sorry to disappoint you." He crossed his arms, then grinned. "Don't blame me for your mistake. It was your fault for not having a camera handy."

Wildcat? She had to chuckle. Ah, she has been called worse. It seemed that they were already at each other's neck. Besides weren't his compliments so sweet? Yeah, as sweet as honey, as sour as vinegar. "Oh come on, you'll make me blush," she told him mockingly. Blush...never happening.

"Intriguing you say...well I'm afraid that I'm really boring to be honest." Her voice was calm and collected, you couldn't really tell if she was serious or not. However if one thing was certain, it was that curiosity killed the cat. She really didn't need a nosy Azuma on her case.

"Ah, I do intend to make up for my mistake." Oh she would. She just needed to come up with a few ideas first.

He folded his arms in front of him, and raised an eyebrow at that comment. He was almost tempted to smirk, knowing very well that it was definitely not happening. They were at each other's necks most of the time. One day, they might actually end up trying to kill each other. But they probably have a lot of fun doing that though. "That is something I'd love to see... but don't you think you'd have to be a girl to do that effectively?"

"Hmmm? You've told me that once before," he shrugged. He wasn't normally a curious guy. Nothing caught his attention enough for him to actually want to know about. This might actually be one of his special cases. Who knew? "But I do find the oddest things intriguing. So, it might not exactly be a good thing."

"If you get any good shots, you have to give me 50% of the profit," he said in a very businessman-like manner. "It is not fair for you to benefit for someone else's expense, wildcat."

"The last time I checked I was a girl, only thing is that I'm not brainless or obsessed with you. So I guess you'll just never see me blush," she shot back just as easily. "Not unless, I lose my mind, I lose a bet or I'm completely utterly drunk." The last part was added under her breath. Like that was ever going to happen. It was a well-known fact to her friends and her family that she did not hold her liquor very well. She tended to say and do things that she should not. Completely embarrassing ( ... )

"Oh yeah, you are. I wonder why it keeps slipping my mind." His eyes widened, feigning utter surprise. "Believe me, you wouldn't find me anywhere near you if you were obsessed with me. But still, I would love a blushing picture of you to grace my nightstand." He laughed. "It might really be cute. Hmmm... maybe not. People might think I play with little boys."

"Ah! My angels," he sneered with contempt. "Don't you think that they are cute? Trying to protect their prince?" But who was going to protect him from them? He stared down at her grinning, staring at her eyes shining. "Do you think I care what would make them happy? Unfortunately, I want to spend my time with you." He let her read however she wished.

"You're not up to one of your monkey business again, are you?" He made a mental not to lock all his doors and windows from now on. "An eye for an eye, wildcat. Do something and I will retaliate."

"Ah, that wouldn't surprise me. To be honest you look like one of those boys that stepped out of those shounen-ai or yaoi manga. So if indeed you like to play with boys, I wouldn't be surprised." She giggled, the sound carefree and rather girlish to be honest. The town seemed to finally come into view and Misao couldn't help but grin ( ... )

"Hmmm? Maybe I do play with little boys.... or a pedofile! You never know," he said with a teasing sing-song voice. He didn't mention that the girls back in Seisou did that. He was glad that she didn't go to his old school. He knew about the doujinshi that circulated among the girls with him and his bestfriend on the cover. He had stopped the circulation before it got any bigger, but he wanted to kill those artists when he got his hands on them ( ... )
