My Place Of Birth: Albuquerque, New Mexico
This city was founded in 1706 by a group of colonist who had been granted permission by King Philp of Spain to establish a new villa on the banks of the Rio Grande.
This city has change a lot since then.
A replica of the atomic bomb that was dropped 58 years ago onto Hiroshima is now back on display at the National Atomic Museum in Albuquerque. The mock bomb was originally built during World War II to train soliders during the Manhattan Project. The bomb’s replica was on display at the National Atomic Museum until the museum moved last year from Kirtland Air Force Base to Albuquerque’s museum row.
Then on the date on November 19, 1988 I was born in St. Joseph's Hospital. The city has never been the same since....Just kidding.
