We lead such charmed and glamorous lives.
I spent my morning talking to a highly medicated bipolar guy who had his place sprayed for roaches recently. He willingly showed me ALL of his cabinets full of hundreds of dead roaches. Then he proceeded to talk to me at length about his medical issues and show me his leaky toilet that had not been cleaned for several years.
He ended the assessment by asking me if he should wash his toaster in the sink.
Ahhh, yes. And THIS is why I went to school for seven years and am 98k in the hole...
At least not ALL of my clients have this many issues. There are lights at the end of the tunnel however. I get a raise in Feb. 2009 and PPO dental in January 2009.
This is only the beginning of a career journey for me.
But for now, I get to talk about roaches, toilets and bowel movements with my clients...
