Poem of Pirates, Mermaids, and Unfortunate outcomes

I had a dream last night and I just remembered today
Steaming pirate ships were sailing across the USA
The cannonballs were being shot in every direction
Explosion reaching above and beyond my biggest expection
aboard the ships were gold toothed scoundrels with stolen strung pearls
Accompanied by the most rotted-clothed grotesquely looking set of girls
They had me in their sights and were shouting for "full speed ahead"
I, even though I'm not familiar with death threats, knew the end of my life is ahead
The florescent mermaid across the cliff motioned toward a path I must take for safety
She was sporting the nicest flock of wetted red hair that I have seen as of lately
My choices shrinking as the pirates sprinted forward I followed the path
Took the rocky terrain in every wind and curve attempting to flee from the pirate's wrath
The path led me to this empty area of beach where not a ship was in sight
I wanted to personally thank this wonderful mermaid but couldn't see since the trip turned day into night
I heard a voice that said, "You should be safe for now" and followed every vibration of the sound
My legs and feet were ferioucisly kicking the white sanded ground
I caught up with a beauty that was more prominent up close than from beyond
I felt like a magician had zapped me with a mighty magical wand
"My words can never lay down a description of your endless beauty" I said with cunning vigor
Yet she made me trip into a dream-like daze as if I had consumed a bottle of liquor
"We must make hot passionate love before the pirate boats find harbor in this dock"
I ran to the voice as fast as I could only to be woken up to reality by the sound of the alarm clock
