So he comes downstairs from where he'd been trying to demon-and-ghost proof the master bedroom again, following his nose with some amount of caution. Not a lot, but just enough to prove he's not a complete idiot.

Nah. I used to cook all the meals for me and my dad so I've picked up a lot of recipes. I just thought it would be nice for everyone to have cookies to maybe cheer them up.

And here is the most important question ever.

I would give you a huge allowance if you made one every once in a while. No joke.

I'd make them even if you didn't give me an allowance for them. Baking is one of the ways I distract myself from all the crazy stuff going on here.

Everybody's got their coping mechanisms, but baking is one I fully endorse.

For the most part. Not as many monsters, near as I can tell, but not that different from the time an angel stuck me in a whole slew of TV shows.
