R.I.P Fanart for Sakura Art Challenge
So, I was neglecting studying for my exams in order to finish my pic for Sakura Art Challenge at you_got_gay. I decided to draw Mizuki and Yuuta, with small Fuji and Rudolphians figures hiding behind the trees. I would have finished it by now, had my computer not crashed just as I was saving the pic.

And that sucks about the contest. Maybe contact the mod and see if they'll extend the deadline for you as this wasn't your fault?

I doubt extending the deadline would be possible - my exam session starts tomorrow and lasts until the end of July. (._.) If I won't make it in time before the history of literature exam (and thus before the deadline) I won't have enough time afterwards - the last exam (history of Great Britain) is the most troublesome one, so many books to read/facts to remember... (^.^)"

What's left of the picture is very pretty though. All the details on trees and the pretty colours.

It looked much neater when it was almost done, because the trees were casting shadows - a trick I saw in some pretty art and decided to try something similar. *^^*
Well, I'll just have to remake it from the scratch. It won't be so difficult now, the planning was what gave me the most trouble. Now I can just redraw it over what was left of the pic... Thanks God I saved the lineart in a different folder. ^.^

The weird thing happened a couple times after the fanart misfortune... Every time I accidentally bump into my desk (my comp is standing on the top of it) the HDD is making weird dying duck noise - and after a few seconds it just freezes. >_<# No matter what I do, the comp doesn't react and usually I need to do hard reset (although once it started working again after a few minutes). WTF? I just bought this HDD a few days ago, from the same manufacturer my previous HDDs were. I've never had any troubles with them... ^^' And it's not like I kick the desk or something, even tiny movement like dropping the screwdriver is enough to cause trouble... (>_<)
...Oh well, I should have known that naming the system partition "Mizuki" was just asking for trouble. It's fast, pretty, well-organized and holds a lot of data, but is just too damn ill-tempered. XD

And then there's infallible Kaworu, my former system disc, now taking care of storing large files, some anime-related stuff and backup. I used to have 20GB Shinji, but he was too damned loud, so I replaced him with Mizuki/Yuuta combo. All of his data were transferred onto Kaworu, so his soul is kinda still alive, though. XD
...It sounds really creepy when I write about it in this way... \(o_O)/
