Gotta get that last word....
Well, the past month has been yet another whirlwind. I've been knocking on death's door in pain from my neck/head. Gawd, do these doctor's know NOTHING about healing? The best solution for my issue was to dope me up.... wooohooo, I'm now a druggie! Thank goodness for "ancient Chinese secrets". I hate needles, but wow, acupuncture is fabulous!
Aside from that, Kismet and I just returned from a trip to Phoenix. It was good. Rest, relaxation, not to mention, I had the chance to teach my dog to swim! LOL It was adorable! I've never had a small dog that I could teach to dog paddle.... sad part is, she swims better than I do!
"D" was excited when I got home because he had the chance to tell me that he's coming home for a week at the end of July (Thank gawd). We've got so much to do in so little time... I'm still waiting to hear, but I believe we're going to try to get married in that week. I think the plan is to take a day trip to Reno and hit one of those cute lil chapels. Of course, we're still trying to figure out what to do with me while he's in Iraq. LOL I told him that I felt like I was an item that you could pack up and store away for a year, go back to storage and be excited when ya found it because you had forgotten that you had it! Anyway, by this weekend we should know whether or not I'm staying here, moving closer to his base or moving home to my family.... wooohooo... I just love waiting to hear my own fate.
Now, back to Kismet, she hears the neighborhood dogs, the mail man and what's she gotta do? She's gotta get that last word in. Luckily I've taught her to "mwoof" quietly in the house. Just told her to hush, so what's she do? "Mwoooof" Damn dog needs to learn to argue better... she does not always have to have the last word.
Anyway, not much new in my life.... Just glad that it's finally warming up, I've already got a tan and I'll be getting married soon.... *sigh* Life is good!
