I have a new Rp character, which now makes four, but only two that I'm allowed to play. This new edition is a child, he's Jak's little brother, from reading the rules I don't think that it's not allowed, if it is please tell me.
I can't wait until my six month two character limit is up, I so want to get in and play Bella and Nat.
Nathaniel (Nat or Fungus) won't be a main character, just one that I play occassionally when Jak can't get any one to watch him and he'll only be played when Jak is. That is, if it's not breaking any rules.
Name: Nathaniel Wylde
Nicknames: Nat and Fungus
Jak calls him Fungus, if you ask Nat why, he’ll tell you it’s because he’s obnoshus (obnoxious), but he grows on you.
Introduces himself as Fungus
Where he/she lives: Wherever his brother Jak does, they tend to travel around a bit but at the moment, they’re living with Aedan at the Palace.
Place of Birth: Port Caynn
Age, Date of Birth: 6, August 22 - our calendar of course
Occupation: Full time child, part time entertainer. Nat is part of a three man theatre troupe comprised of his brother, Jak and grandfather Reynard.
Status: Commoner
Magic: None, but likes to pretend that he has the gift, if people ask why they can’t see it, he’ll tell them it’s because his gift is clear or invisible.
Family:
Jakys Wylde - (Jak) Nat’s brother - See Jak’s profile. - Nat calls Jak Pa, even though he is not his father, he was raised by Jak since he was three, has some memories of his real father, but through traveling around with the theatre troupe it’s became easier to call Jak Pa, less people ask questions if they think Jak’s his father.
Reynard Wylde - Grandfather - A crotchety old man whom Nat calls Mint, because he always smells like mint.
Appearance: Brown hair and hazel colored eyes, small for his age and hasn’t yet has his growth spurt. Despite his age, he has old, knowing eyes that some times make people feel uncomfortable. Nat has burns scars running from his ear to the base of his neck on his right side, these he gained in the fire that took his parents lives and would have taken his own, if he hadn’t have been saved by Jak. These are usually the first thing that people notice about him, but Nat wears them with pride.
Clothing: Wears, mainly brown short sleeve shirts, brown leather hoses and boots, Jak is fussy with his clothing, and attempts to do the same with Nat’s but Nat often has other ideas. He’s six years old, he likes to get dirty, run around, tear his clothes, get in fights and he also does it because he knows that it annoys Jak so much.
Personality:
Nat is almost a carbon copy of Jak, but in a smaller package.
He’s straight forward but only because he knows no other way and because he’s been encouraged to be from a very early age. Most of what he says, is often done without thought. How many six year olds do you know who think before they speak? If some one says some thing he doesn’t like, or he just simply doesn’t like them he’s most likely to try and kick them in the shins or higher.
He’s a live wire; full of energy, always on the go, always quick with words, insults and come backs and always full of bright ideas, that seem like a good idea at the time but really aren’t and are most likely to get him into trouble. Nat is pretty much fearless, he’ll climb trees, he’ll tease animals, he’ll try and steal from an experienced thief, he’ll stand and argue with men who won’t hesitate to kill him. Mostly because he’s like most six year olds, but also because he knows that his big brother will always be there to protect him. The only thing that can slow him down, stop him in his tracks is when he’s tired, he’ll cling to Jak like glue.
Nat is creative, if there’s some thing that he doesn’t have but wants, he’ll create it within his mind, such as the gift and friends. If told that they don’t exist or that he doesn’t have any, he’ll just argue that they’re invisible or that you don’t believe in them enough to see them.
He has a seemingly uncanny knack of knowing who to trust and who not to trust, but he mostly learns this from Jak. He watches the way Jak acts around some one, his body language, the body language of the other person, Jak’s tone of voice and so forth. He can read Jak like a book, and he practically hero worships him and refuses to hear or believe any thing bad that others tell him about Jak.
Nat is a six year old going on sixty. He’ll use any thing and every thing to get what he wants, including the emotions of others. He’ll act the hungry child in order to get a free feed, he’ll make himself cry in order to get attention and so forth. He’s a cunning and crafty six year old who’s spent most of his time around older people, picking up some of their mannerisms. Nat is often well spoken, he’s been trained in proper ways to speak to people by his grandfather but when tired he gets lazy with his words, some times substituting D’s for G’s when he speaks.
Nat has one big fear, and that’s fire. He fears it with a passion, so much so that he freezes instantly when he sees it, no matter how big or small.
Strengths:
His energy is one of Nat’s main strengths, he’s so energetic, and so lively that just by being around him, he can improve the mood of others. The way he reads people, is also a main strength. Nat isn’t afraid to sit back and watch for a while, he knows what to look for, ie body language and tone of voice and his judgments are often right.
His creativity and imagination, the way he can just conjour anything he wants in his mind and it’s real to him. Nat is also an extremely talented performer, he has a clear ringing voice that has been known to draw crowds and turn heads.
Weaknesses:
His inability to think before he speaks often gets him and his brother into a whole lot of trouble, which never ends well for Jak. His fearlessness is one of his weaknesses, because he’s a six year old and to face down a man that has qualms about killing him, or harass an animal that will most likely attack him has and will lead him to danger.
The way he hero worships Jak is also a major weakness and how he can’t see Jak’s faults, and won’t even try and see Jak’s faults. He’ll defend Jak until he’s purple in the face, even if what he’s arguing is wrong.
History: - See Jakys’ profile.
What is your character most ashamed of?
What is a six year old ashamed of really? Nat’s ashamed of the fact that he still sucks his thumb when he sleeps, or that he still some times wees his bed.
What makes your character unique?
There are so many things that make Nat unique; he’s a six year old going on sixty, he’s creative, crafty and talented, he uses his imagination, his energy and his fearlessness, he fear of fire but especially his ability to read people.
Why is your character coming to the Inn?
Nat only comes to the Inn with Jak. When Jak can’t find some one to watch him, or his grandfather is busy, or he simply refuses to be left at home or separated from Jak he’ll bring him along.
I think I'm done for the night, time for a Milo and a comfy chair watching House and then the Glass House. MSN hates me, I've been trying to log in all day and it either won't let me or signs me out almost straight away.
