05 - Distrubution of Goods

Great One, I thank You for returning friends to us and bringing new life to this place in which we remain. I have found work within this environment, I have done my best to embrace it, and I promise You now that from now on half of my wages shall be put aside. In time, I hope to establish a shrine in Your Name - and I hope I will know Your Name then.

P.S. My newfound friend is quite full of energy. He is one of the most loyal creatures I can imagine, and we have not even known each other very long.

Now, Eden's Sphere citizens, I have a number of items I will gladly offer to you in the wake of our tragedies. I will not ask for payment of services rendered this time, and it would be selfish of me to keep these things when they might bring joy to another.

First, Apple - I have found a pair of goggles for you! The strap needs a new latch, unfortunately. A few other items that may be useful to others:
- a piece of armor, I think; it could protect one's whole arm were it not filled with extra metal in the middle. It will certainly require maintenance, as it is difficult to bend at the hinge.
- a sturdy, small chest, but alas the lock is broken
- a key, perhaps to the broken lock from the chest? At any rate it is quite ornate.
- a few small bags containing what I believe to be cooking spices, though I had to remove some pebbles from within them
- for a young woman, a pink summer dress
- a deck of cards, but I am not sure how one would play with them... a few of the cards appear to have been burnt by the fire, and the '0' card has a tear in it
- a beautiful piece of art with one hole through the bottom right-hand corner; it is of a weeping woman set within a sun at dusk, but the tears are rose petals and the 'sun' does look somewhat like an eye
- a rather unusual device made mostly of metal with a cracked lavender crystal set into it; it appears as if it is meant to be gripped in two hands

- As per KK's request for Apple, he has a pair of goggles - specifically [Raz's goggles] from Psychonauts
- As per Janelle's request, Serenity found Alchemy's arm XD
- the key goes to The Velvet Room, from the Persona games; I wish I had an image of it, but you can bet it's Victorian in style and a beautiful piece of craftsmanship
- the spices are from the country of Devarnish in Serenity's canon -- think Middle Eastern in flavor, but it's up to whoever claims it as to the actual taste
- the "summer dress" is [Kairi's jumper from KH2]
- the deck of cards is a tarot deck, with the images being as shown in the Persona game series; the 0 card is The Fool, but all of the Major Arcana card images can be viewed [here]. The minor arcana only appear in Persona 3.
- the painting is by artist Edgar Teglee (sp?), and it portrays [the sky from Black Velvetopia], a level in the game Psychonauts
- the 'device is the "Psitanium dowsing rod" from the Whispering Rock Summer Camp in the game Psychonauts. The crystal is made of Psitanium, which amplifies psychic powers, but since the crystal is cracked it wouldn't do anything even if there were Psitanium arrow heads in Edensphere XD
