whymzycal They'd been fucking for three months. Well, four (technically), but there had been a full month in between the first time and the second time. Not that Aya was counting. It wasn't like they were together or anything, just that sometimes Aya needed to get off, and Yohji was convenient. Neither asked for anything more. Aya got it when he wanted it, and Yohji still went out clubbing and fucking when Aya didn't, and it was an acceptable arrangement for both parties involved.
So why was Aya so cranky lately? If you asked any of the others, Aya was downright irritable. Everything Yohji did seemed to piss him off lately, and he couldn't figure out why. He did nothing out of the ordinary: he flirted with everyone that had a pulse, came home every night smelling like cigarettes and booze, and walked around the Koneko half-dressed. All normal, typical Yohji. And yet, Aya found himself grinding his teeth together one night as the scent of Yohji's cologne drifted underneath his door. Yohji's "lucky" cologne, which was a ridiculous thing to call it because Yohji always got lucky, whether he wore it or not. Air was lucky for Yohji, Aya snorted to himself, and went downstairs to make some tea.
Several minutes later, Yohji appeared, a whirl of blond hair, black fur-trimmed coat, and sunglasses. "Don't wait up," he announced unnecessarily, hand held up in a wave behind him. Without thinking, Aya put his hand firmly on the door.
"Don't go," he said, surprising even himself.
Yohji glanced at Aya over the frames of his sunglasses. "Feeling frisky, then? Want me to stay home tonight?" he drawled. The promise of sex in his voice sent shivers down Aya's spine.
"It's not just that," Aya said, beginning to wish that he had kept his mouth shut.
Yohji frowned. "Then what is it?"
Aya's heart started to pound. "I want you to stay."
"What are you asking, Aya? Just tonight or..." he trailed off, pushing his sunglasses up onto the bridge of his nose, hiding his eyes.
"All the time," Aya said, his voice barely more than a whisper. In fact, he wasn't even sure he had said it out loud.
He knew he had when Yohji took off his glasses, his eyes sparkling in surprise.
"I thought you'd never ask," he said.
