Incoming shakeup
This is one of those posts warning all of my readers that I'm about to do some major cleaning up around here. It recently occurred to me that one reason I haven't been posting much lately is that I'm afraid of upsetting some people with what I'd be writing about. And then I had this profound revelation about doing such a thing: "Fuck that."
I've decided to take a lesson from the glorious nation of Brynnistan (brynndragon). This is my LJ. Therefore, I should write whatever I want. If I wanted to intentionally write stuff that would offend readers, I have every right to do that. That's not my way (usually), but my point is that I shouldn't feel I have to censor myself so as not to upset anyway. If people are going to be upset at me and/or what I write, they don't have to read it, and/or can go read someone else's LJ.
Along with this, I'm going to be trimming down my friends list a bit. If I trim you out, ain't nothing personal. If you specifically want to stay, let me know and I'll keep you. Chances are if I know you fairly well in real life, you'll make the cut.
There is no specific event that caused this. None of you have reacted poorly to anything I've written (at least that I know of) to inspire this. If anything, I ought to be writing more after this, once I feel more comfortable doing so. Truth is, I don't even need to make these disclaimer seither, since this is my LJ and I can write whatever I want. :)
