*fans self* Hot hot hot.
I really liked the play of personalities here - Cas trying to contain Sam first with the stay up past his bedtime element, and then containing him by keeping his distance, and then the 'worst sub ever' moment. It's interesting to see Cas displaying the same theme in different ways, and to see Sam consistently fight against it. There's an appealing equality there (and, of course, Sam thinking about how Cas would be with Dean and then denying spending time fantasizsng about it is hilarious). I think you did a really good job with the threesome element, pointing out all of the awkwardness in the actual physicality of three people moving together, and then taking the time to explain how Cas and Gabriel make it work.

Although he was mostly joking with the 'embarrass Sam by sending other random angels to cart him off to bed' thing. For one thing, only very very few people have access to Gabriel's houses (and therefore library). Which Sam will remember when he's not being distracted by angel-kisses. But, yes. Still working out how to deal with the whole thing. Sex is much easier by comparison ( ... )

... This is extra problematic because that looks like the set for Silence in the Library, so now I have Doctor Who library porn (with extra deadly shadows) in my head. HALP.

(I hear he and Catherine Tate did Beatrice and Benedict too, which is obviously a monument of national importance.)
And, no, I can't write Doctor Who at all, only Supernatural. And I find it very difficult, even reading fanfic, to think of the Doctor as a sexualised being. Hence the short-circuit of the brain staring at that gif. Pardon me, I must short-circuit some more...

I don't know why, the fic centres around Sam/Cas, but I really liked Gabriel in this. He seems to be at ease. With Sam and Cas but more importantly with himself. In my opinion Gabriel normally hides a lot of anger and hurting under his trickster mask. And now my starting at part two of this verse backfires because considering the summary I guess you dealt with hurt!Gabriel in IHI. Maybe...? Or you just wanted a happy Gabriel for your fic. One way or the other I love Gabriel and how he treats Sam in this! So much love and trust and UNDERSTANDING between them.
Okay on to Cas and Sam... You remember what I said about my issues with power differences in relationships. I think this is what they're trying to work out here. And again I really like what you've done with it! I got the impression you are very aware of the topic and every one of your characters reacts differently. You ( ... )
