i've recently become reaquainted with an old friend: the center of a tootsie pop.
so deliciously undemanding, so irresistably patient and well worth as many licks as it takes
which, incidentally was maybe 3.
now I'm enjoying the remnants of its skeleton; the paper-variety stick. It's slowly becoming less of a stick and more of a choking hazard.

sitting in the midi lab is very different from sitting in the computer lab. The computer lab is noisy and crowded and smells like swiss army cologne and annabelle makeup. No one is especially friendly, but they also don't seem to object to the food and drink I consistantly take in there and leave crumbs of on and around the keyboard.

Speaking of unfriendly, how about the girl who butted in and took the last available appointment with Xena, the United Way tarot reader in the Sheridan bookstore for one day only. $5 for 10 minutes. I was in the middle of negotiations for the 4:10 spot, when this girl, whose reading had better involve impending doom, waltzed in and didn't mind if she did say "I'll take that spot." It was at this point I realised that the touring library psychic probably wasn't worth $5. Besides, I'm not made of money and manilla envelopes are getting pricey. Especially ones that apparently are made for "my giant."

She is number 1 on my list of annoyances.

Number 2 is the guy who responded to my query as to whether he had a key for the midi lab with "Oh yeah, I'll be right back with that." drenched in sarcasm

Number 3 is the charming lady who, when she thought she might hit me with her car on Trafalgar, slowed down and hissed "STUPID!" at my from the driver's seat. Yeah she really had my well being in mind. Nice little reminder that people really couldn't care less about eachother unless they might have to go to court.

I think I'm back.
