Right, I doubt anyone actually reads these, but if you do, it has recently come to my attention (by less than pleasant means, but that's a story for another place) that Pepsi is running a campaign that involves issuing grants to charities for various amounts.
You can read the proposals of the organizations that are competing, and vote for ten a day. The awards seem to be given monthly. Here's the link if anyone is interested. There are some really worthy causes, and even if you can't vote for them all, there are some good reminders of what needs fixing in the world and the people who are working on it.
