Starting things off with Tat's track friend, I admit I had to squeal just a tiny bit, getting this glimpse that Mr. Stone Cold anti-social might actually have other friends! Shocker. But judging on Oda's competitive reaction to Sho catching up to him, I can see how these two are friends. ;) I love how a simple glare from el capitano can make Takai shut up and train, though
( ... )
DUDE, THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT TOO ABOUT SHIGE! and I love how his bio says he dislikes girly men. Ftw, but he embroiders? ... though I guess it kinda makes sense, since he lives in a temple, and maybe he's had to learn to do this on his own since he doesn't have a mom.
Yeah, tatsuya can be ICE COLD when he wants to. I mean, the things about his mom smiling, that was a buuuurn.
Haha, yeah, I had to laugh at tatsubon and Shige's interaction during the assignment of positions. Shige is so easily bought sometimes.
Dude, Tatsuya dodging Mamiya's ball was so badass. <3
I feel like Shige's usage of Onii-san even with Tatsuya is probably part of his larger ploy to fool everyone and make them underestimate him. :/ Maybe?
I can see the dude running the temple making Shige learn stuff like embroidery. You know, he has to earn his keep and there's only so many things you can clean! He needs other skills. ;)
I love it when Tats burns people. Mean, but oh so awesome!
Shige is easily bought. A simple compliment does him wonders! I guess Tats picked up on complimenting people to diffuse situations from living with three women, haha.
I kind of think Shige refers to Tats with Onii-san to make fun of him. Kind of like a Japanese equivalent of calling someone "mom" when they're hassling you about things! That certainly seems more like Shige than using it out of respect, heh.
Good point. We need to do some in-depth analytical study of Shige's mind, haha.
And I am still so tempted to write a little au with Tats running away from home and living at the temple with Shige. Could you imagine them having embroidery classes together? I bet Tats would suck at it. I just can't see him being good at anything "domestic".
HAHAHA, so then Tatsu really isn't a girly man! XD
Omg, you seriously should write that, even if it's just snippets and not a full cohesive story with beginning and end. :)
Characters like Shige are always one of my favorites because they really throw you in for a loop and you never really know what they're thinking. Shou and Tatsuya are generally easy to read, as is Tsubasa (my ultimate favorite character), but someone like Shige? Not so much.

I think I am going to write some of that AU. It's too good to pass up!
