Revisiting: Volume 2

May 14, 2010 19:51

And now that we've had time to read the first volume, let's go on to Volume 2!

Here are some questions again to prompt you:

  • What were you favorite parts?
  •
  • What was the most shocking part?
  •
  • What characters did you like the best at that point?

Hahaha, okay, here's my thoughts now:

Wow, I'd forgotten about this bullying business with the delinquents. In that sense, the manga has changed a bit, because it's pretty much strictly soccer-related later on. Interesting. And I have to laugh at Shige drinking the coke -- that was like a coke commercial right there XD

And it shows that Tatsuya lives with females. His observational skills are top-notch (did you change your lipstick, sensei?)

sdfhskj SEIJI and KATSURA. Oh, my heart did a little flip at their unexpected entrance!

LOL, Shige, "Have you forgotten my existence?" XD man, he thinks he's so special <3

Man... Shige is kind of ruthless when he wants to be. He's... not a bad guy, but he definitely has no qualms about pushing people to get the results he's looking for. I mean, he's rough with Sho. But the trust Tatsuya places on his right from the beginning when entrusting Sho to him... is kinda shippable impressive ( ... )

To answer your question - ducking is allowed during PKs. You don't see it often, but it is allowed!

And Seiji's birthday being on New Years is quite awesome! You should totally fic that. ;) I can't believe I didn't notice Katsuro disliking crawling bugs. That is adorable! I think I was too stuck on Shige's dislike of girly men to appreciate anything else, haha.

KSHdfaks SHIGE'S DISLIKE OF GIRLY MEN seems like the most irony hypocritical thing that could have been said for him. I don't even know how to take it - as a joke? Because 1 - Shige embroiders. wtf. 2 - Half his friends are super girly-looking (Tatsubon, Tsubasa).

Maybe he means spineless wussy guys? I think that's the way I'll have to take it.

I think that's totally what she meant. Men with no balls! I suppose, after all, one would have to possess balls of steel in order to openly show your embroidery skills at school at that age.
