Hey everybody!
I have entirely failed to update this thing in any semblance of a timeframe. I am sorry. Life is going pretty well around town.
My show (The Fantasticks!
http://www.columbuscivic.org) is going very well, and I love the cast. We're open for two more weekends and hoping for steadily increasing crowds. I hear that attendance was down everywhere last weekend, so I'm not too worried.
Brian and I are neck deep in wedding planning. I think planning would be easy if there wasn't money involved, though there is something exciting about the challenge of getting everything you want and fitting it into a budget. We're going out this weekend to look at more venues, with one really interesting site and a second potentially interesting site. We've managed to find a few caterers who are willing to work with us on the "local, and preferably naturally grown" specification, even if we will need to pay premiums for that service.
The world is bright and sunny today, and I spent the first 3 hours sitting like a bump on the proverbial log watching the Inauguration. I've never watched on before that I recall! I really hope this transfer of power means good things for the country.
Work is still work, but I'm making a strong go at becoming a viable free-lance choreographer. ( If you know anyone in town who's looking, please give them my name!)
I think that's all for now. I hope you're all doing well!
peace
