There's so much....

School is officially over!  Our last day was Thursday. A few of us went through Spring break to make up some work missed on all of those awful snow days, and that was the end. *sniff*

I'm going to miss it, partly. I wish we would've had more time to go over everything before the final (it was Monday and it was AWFUL, I'm afraid the 100 I've had all year may dwindle a bit) and certainly before taking the national (which, ha, may be awhile anyway).  I'm terribly disgusted with the school and the way they've treated us throughout the year, the end has been no different. BUT, clinicals start on Monday and will last until May 21st. I'm not going to the graduation ceremony (well, turns out we don't get a choice in that, either) so that will be it for me. I'll get my certificate, register for the nationals, and hopefully pass it and land a job.

Here's to hoping RGH or CVS need an extra employee! The hospital pays dollars more on the hour but CVS would be a better schedule for Aidan, especially when he starts preschool. So.....money isn't everything, right? : D

Aidan is AMAZING!! My little boy is growing FAST and he's so damn smart. He's really good with his colors, can count to three (One, twooo, freeeee rigs!), take his clothes off (along with his diaper-I could've waited for that, lol). And his words!? I can't even count how many words this kid is saying.   For example, he loves rigs, trucks in general really, so we read his rig book every other night or so. He can identify each type of truck. Weather it's a dump truck, tanker, mixer, etc., he can tell me what it is and what color it is.

Oh! He mastered the shapes on his laptop! Aunt Jenny bought it for him for Christmas. It has a star, triangle, circle, square, heart and flower. He can point to each when asked. Along with the color for each or animal on the screen! Animals are another big hitter for him. He loves doing the sounds. He can do the monkey (recently learned -J, you need to ask him next time you watch him!- and accompanied with him trying to hook his right arm so he can scratch under his left armpit!), cat, dog, wolf, rooster, bear, lion, elephant, moose (CA-RAZY!!), cow, and even the sound Aunt Jenny makes. Haha. (She says grrrrrrr, btw.)
I'm more impressed with him everyday. Earlier, he got one shoe half way on, got on his car, started it up by turning the key and said "Bye, bye." When I asked where he was going he said, "Papaw's home."  : D Yesterday he was going to Jenny's to play with Uncle Rich and his tools. (He even had his screwdriver!)

*sigh*

His vocabulary has expanded to include two syllable words and fragmented sentences! I'm blow away by that. Now, he says the plural version of words, as well. The hair dryer is "mama'sssss."

I'm so incredibly fortunate it makes my eyes tear up.

I'm going to miss the hell out of him when clinicals start. : (

The visitations have went okay. Brian's only had him for one full day, the first day. After that he would have my mom pick Aidan up after 1-3 hours, I would still be in class.  If he doesn't start work before next week, he said he'll watch him two of the days I'm at CVS, which would help.

Now, I'm going to pick up the dirty lunch dishes and nap with him for a bit.
