highschool never ends

so i went to hofstra on thursday. i went to central today. it's time to make my decision so i can send my deposit in for tuesday question is, which school do i send it to.
Hofstra- it's in the ghetto, not as close to the city as i thought, the theatre crowd is very clique-y and could prove hard to make friends since it's competitive, i'm missing the dance team tryouts because of my recital, and it's A TON OF MONEY. on the other hand, it has good teachers, a good outlet for film, tv, and radio education, kind of near the city.
Central- i feel like people will be disappointed i'm going to central. i think they'll look down on me for picking central over hofstra and just in general because it's a state school. also, i wish i could go somewhere in a city where i don't know anyone because it would force me to come out of my shell and experience something new. and i got waitlisted for housing. also, theres no other multimedia type of major i could fall back on or double major with like hofstra. on the other hand, the campus is really nice, it's cheaper, the theatre people i met today seemed awesome, and i can try out for the dance team in the fall.
both are good schools. i always leave everything having to do with college to the last minute. basically it comes down to will i get the same education or is it worth it to pay the extra 20,000$ a year? i just don't want people to be disappointed either way.
what do i do.
