a) I just bought my ticket for Harry Potter 7, part 2. On Friday I shall be boycotting the Internet so I can watch Harry Potter 7, part 2 without being spoiled. Come midnight on Thursday, I bet the Internet shall be flooding with spoilerific images and I do not want to spoil myself for what will be the last Harry Potter movie ever. Oh gosh that hurt so much to say.
b) I finally watched Marie Antoinette:
1. I liked the dinner scenes with Antoinette and her husband because I think they marked the stages in which Marie grew as a character. For me, the last scene in particular highlighted how she went from spoiled aristocrat a more mature, responsible queen.
2. The clothes. The architecture. The food. I could watch this movie just for the visuals and be happy.
3. Marie’s romance with her lover threw me off a little bit because I probably got up to get a glass of water while their key scenes were playing. Did their affair just end suddenly? If they even had one? There was a lot of speculation around Marie’s affair with the count so I thought maybe the director made their relationship confusing on purpose.
c) I edited one of
