Dentist / Cleaning out II

Dirty little secret time - I haven't been to the dentist in over ten years. More likely 15. Finally I made Alsafi make the appointment for me, because I continued to never get around to it. Good news, only 2 cavities, but I -have- to start flossing. Meh. Still, much, much, much better than the root canals, etc I was freaking out I might have to get and then pay for. For years.

Pulled everything out of my closet last weekend, cleaned it, weeded thru all the clothes and shoes, and now am in the process of going thru the remainder of the non-clothes stuff in there. Discovered I had bugs eating the Japanese jacket that I'd bought last year, but thankfully nothing else, so I'm washing everything in that box (kimono, etc) and spraying the box down with bug spray. This is going to be a shitload of ironing. Sad about the jacket, but would have been v. upset had it been the obi and kimono we brought back from Japan.

Next is the bathroom/linen closet, which shouldn't take much time at all, and doing a good clean of the bedroom, actually moving the furniture to give the room a good vacuuming. The gray bits in the back of my closet have inspired me. After that comes the badroom (crafting & office), which is daunting, but must be done. Even if it's declaring a crafting bankruptcy, getting rid of everything, and starting over. Wow. Just thinking about doing that is nearly as traumatic as the dentist thing.
