I am returned - what have I missed?
Well! It was a good, relaxing holiday.
VERY relaxing, really.
Except for the part where I spent the weekend with my first-cousins, all under the age of seven XD
Katelyn and Darcy are Gareth and Tanya's daughters, aged 4 and 1-ish respectively. Mariah, Robyn and Imogen are Layla and Ian's daughters, aged 10, 6 and 2-ish respectively. (I didn't actually meet Mariah, unfortunately. Layla and Gareth are my cousins, my mother's niece and nephew - thier brother, Gavin is only 19-ish and is refusing to get married or have kids XD)
I spent the weekend as a climbing-frame and tickle-maister for Katelyn and Darcy, showed Robyn how to work mom's digital camera and was avoided by Imogen XD
I am now broody as all hell. Seriously. Even the farting, nappy-changing and screaming-noise-making didn't put me off. They're kids, they do that. Oh, and the birth-story swapping by Tanya, Layla, my mother and her sister Kris - none of THOSE put me off either c.c They just made me laugh and cringe in equal measure XD
Anyway, got hundreds of photos of the kids, I'm sportiong a million new cat-scratches from Kris's cat Clipper (ironic, considering), I'm reaxed and raring to go on my projects and my diet.
So. New art soonish (I only managed to draw ONE thing this past week, despite my sending myself the script for Yamabushi - and that was a castle we stopped at on the way home!) and hopefully more lost wieght soon as well c.c
