ohh co-writing- that's gotta be interesting! how do you co write a story??
Well it actually started off as an RPG, but it grew so much after a while it became more of a fan-fic. There were 3 of us in the beginning but one has disappeared, so it's just 2 now, but it's great. Basically we work out plot ideas and characters, character development and how it can all tie in with the plot - pretty standard stuff really. But it's good having a 2nd person, because if you're stuck on an idea, they can help flesh it out :) And character interaction is a lot more interesting because you're not coming up with everything on your own, which makes it more unpredictable.
We bring different aspects into things as well. He's more technical minded, and I seem to have the ability to come up with wild and crazy ideas ;) Plus he's from Canada and I'm here in Oz, so the different cultures make things interesting as well - I go on about Aussie/UK stuff he doesn't know of and it's so funny to read his reactions ;)
umm...ones coming from Another Specky Christmas...Frank/Adam, Adam/Frank/Ross, Frank/Ross, Adam/Ross.
Hmm you just need the right motivation... I don't know how it works for me really. I just get a crazy idea and have to write it all down before I forget ;)
I find writing little summaries helps, then you can flesh it out later on.
