what i am doing

i went to new jersey. it was a long drive but worth it.
now i am back, of course. at last thursday's pizza lunch i had to give a presentation about my research thus far, which was pretty stressful, but afterwards we made liquid nitrogen ice cream, and i got to mix the nitrogen into the cream and sugar. it was fun and delicious.
relatedly, this picture i took on our scanning electron microscope of a sample of mine. w00t.
