You told me how much it hurt when you called it off with her, and I just tried to give you a comforting smile, and tell you I was sorry for your loss. I told you I was ok with it. Truth is, I still cry at night.
I still hold that pillow tight, and bury my face in it. When you guys were together, I really was happy for you both. No lie in that. I just couldn’t look. I know I have no right to still be crying, and that is why no one knows.
With something so simple as an e-mail. The title says: I love you ___(insert name here); and the body of the e-mail says: I always will.
Another e-mail:
Guess who. I just wanted to send you an email and tell you how much you mean to me. God puts blessings in our lives and sometimes we see them...and sometimes we take them for granted and overlook them. Well you are a blessing that was more than obvious. I am so grateful to have met you. I have enjoyed every second I've spent w/ you...and look forward to the future. You are such a wonderful young lady of God and I know you will have an awesome future. Things may not always go your way at times though....I will be there to hold your hand & cry with you. Things may go just the way you wanted at times....I will be there to celebrate with you. Either way I will always be there to support & lift you up. I am proud to call you my girlfriend and I want you to know how special you are to me. Focus on God first...and He will put great things in your life. That is just what I do...and along came ___(name of the person recieving this e-mail)! What a great thing to send to me. I am truely the luckiest man alive!
