This challenge was inspired by Danicast's charming house, The Sun and the Moon. I was intrigued by the notion of a PlantSim and a vampire living together: they have such different needs. Yet, this relationship worked in Dani's game! It inspired me to create a challenge. I've only ever played with one PlantSim, and never with a vampire, so this will be a real learning experience!
If you'd like to play along, then here are some suggested rules:
*You will need Nightlife and Seasons in order to play this challenge*
1. Create two Sims in CAS
- You may use any custom content you wish to create them.
- You may also use downloaded Sims, or Sims that are already in your game.
- They can be roommates, siblings, a couple, etc.
- The two Sims will live in the same household.
2. Move the two Sims into a house
- You may not use hacks/cheats that will make it easy to play your PlantSim or vampire.
- Apart from that, you may use any custom content or hacks/cheats that you wish.
- If you are creating a PlantSim "the traditional way," be sure to include fruit trees or garden plots on the lot.
- If you are creating a vampire "the traditional way," be sure to attach a Downtown to your neighbourhood.
- The neighbourhood must have four seasons.
3. Transform the two Sims into one PlantSim and one vampire
- A PlantSim is created after a Sim uses plant spray too often.
- A vampire is created after a Sim is bitten by another vampire, like the Count or the Countess. You can meet them Downtown.
- I think that there are cheats for transforming a Sim, either in the game or in CAS. Feel free to do that, but I encourage you to explore your game by playing along!
4. Now -- keep them alive and happy!
- Build a close relationship between the two Sims, and maintain it.
- Help them to meet their wants and avoid their fears -- preferably without too much cheating.
- Try to give them long and full lives!
5. The challenge ends when one Sim dies
- I think that's the natural ending point.
If you play along, please share the results!
(I've tried to keep the rules simple, but feel free to ask questions or suggest edits!)
