hey y'all
what a lovely weekend, despite feeling like I was about to pass out and./or puke for most of it, I sure fucking needed all that positive energy and soul-healing awesomeness from my peeps. phew. I love those breaks from hatefulness.
in other news, I got big plans for this week and I want to invite y'all to join me:
1st order of business: RENT! Who wants to come see this on Wednesday? I'm thinkin an afternoon show in Pasadena...? You don't HAVE to know all the words to come with, but I wouldn't complain, cuz I WILL be singing along.... :)
UPDATE: we're goin to a matinee show at the theatre in old town at 3:40pm for only $6.00!! Parking is $1 with validation or we can park at my place and walk on over (takes about 10-15 minutes)
number 2: ThanksGrieving - ok I don't like celebrating genocide, but I do like eating lots of food including turkey. Anna is working 2-7pm and I'm planning on going to kick it with Susan and Talia. What are y'all doin and would you like to come with me to their place? They said they always have lotsa people over and any of my friends is welcome to come too. I think we're guna make LOTS of mashed potatoes and chocolate chip cookies to bring. Maybe an extra turkey, since they only have one stove to work with? If anyone wants to come cook at my house before heading over that would be mega fun too.
hopefully an infusion of thanksgiving food and the sleep thereinduced will give this illness the final guillotine byebye. I'm ready to reenter the world of the living.
