Good fic is getting harder to find in the Buffy 'verse but it still exists. For great Spander try thismaz's wonderful Bewitched. It's a chunky 37 chapter very slow burn Spander and yes I'm biased because I did the beta, but it really is brilliant. Have fun, hon! *g*

I read different fandoms than you at this point, but good fic seems to be really hard to come by these days. It is pretty tragic really.

Have you checked out roque_clasique or ratherastory? They're both fairly new (I think Roque got into fanfic, like, last year or something incredible like that), both SPN writers, both with a decent sized body work, currently.

They're . . . also both madly writing big bangs and not updating REALLY recently, but their stuff is definitely good.
