I ♥ Bela! *bookmarks fic for later devouring*

Have from the first time she got one over on our boys & more every time we've seen her since. I like that she's snarky & a little bit mean. I like that she doesn't appreciate Sam & Dean for the good men that they are. I like that she scoffs at hunting & makes wild generalizations about the people who do it. I love that she has her own motivations & that they don't really have anything to do with what motivates the boys or the demons or anyone else in Show's universe.

Exactly! I love the way she treats the things the boys take so seriously as something to be mocked, whilst at the same time recognising the dangers.

She doesn't elevate the boys (or other Hunters) to some quasi-god like role, they're just one aspect of the world and she has another.

I have a few other f'listees who like her, too, or at the very least don't hate her. I have a suspicion that we're not so much overwhelmingly outnumbered as outvolumed. I will be so sad if Bela ends up on the slag heap because TWOP, et. al. don't approve.
