I Need a Parrot - again
Since so many of you offered to help out with the cost of hosting the site, and after much internal and external struggling about it, I've decided to take the advice I've received today.
If you would like to contribute financially to ensure I Need a Parrot can continue in it's current location, thank you.
Paypal details - mara_jaded @ hotmail.com is my registered email address there. I've never received money via Paypal so I'm not sure how one would go about that, I'm guessing one would log into one's own account and use the 'send money by email' option?
The current webhost cost for 12 months is just under 100GBP (200USD aprox), if more money is raised I could refund it to you, or donate to charity (I was thinking maybe the Stuttering Foundation of America and Equality Now which are supported by Nick Brendon and Joss Whedon respectively), or possibly put the money towards a second year's hosting or a move to a better webhost - any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Due to my current offline-at-the-weekend status, I won't be able to respond to any comments here until Monday, I will set them to screen in the meantime.
(And yes, I'm posting this and running away because I get uncomfortably awkward at times like this - I genuinely appreciate your support and the incredibly generous offers of assistance I've received. Thank you all.)
