who is up for long drives to look at good art?
Justin and I are tentatively planning two road trips this summer to look at stuff.
first trip will be a shorter one to cleveland to see
Michaël Borremans' new show. only about ten hours of driving nothing too extensive probly just a day maybe visiting the
1300 Gallery and
MOCA.
then later on this summer to Minneapolis to see
Chuck Close Self Portraits: 1967 - 2005. this is a little more involved 2-3 day trip, one day driving out through wisconsin and checking out a bunch of roadside attractions (definately
this) then a day in MN and back. let either of us know, most likely canidate is you David so come on dont wuss out.
also an early notice, if you have a hot minute on July 8 stop over at the DAAC between 6:30 and 9 and check out the opening of a show of new work by Justin and myself. should be fun
