Okay, so I've been sitting on this, TOTALLY AWESOME GOOD NEWS! for a while now. Mostly I wanted to make sure it was happening and wasn't cancelled before I got all excited about it, and aside from the Spring Festival Performance happening in two weeks that I've been busy with
Starting Next Month...
I will be a PAID Koto musician. I feel like I get an Achievement for this. I've unlocked the "Starving Artist" achievement in my life :3
Basically, My Sensei is taking me on 14 gigs with her over the course of the next year. Nothing glamorous, but. I. GET. PAID. Not a token sum, either...
Also, it's an excuse to wear my Kimono once or sometimes twice a month, playing Koto, AND GETTING MONEY FOR IT.
