[As she sings, she glances over at the Doctor quietly. Doesn't say anything, but he's noticed.]

[If he's unblocked, then he is being directed, rather 'loudly', a replay of all the emotions Fran felt regarding him the day they met. How touched she was by being cared for, that he walked her home and stayed. How much she liked it when he smiled, how she enjoyed his warm hands against her skin, and his patience with her.

Layered under that, her love for all Doctors, but that's behind this massive wave of what is undeniably a love.]

[She doesn't care. Even a day of kindness like he showed would mean more than a long life lived without tenderness. That's no exaggeration--she would stay with him today if it meant she would die tomorrow. Selfish bitch.]

[She brushes against his mind like a cat walking between his ankles--close and warm and soft. But fleeting, and then she pulls away and her attention goes back to the music.]

That golden light, they don't like it. Spread out, blackening it, trying to smother it.

[They've learned from the waking world. The light on the porch begins to flicker, leaving only a few weaker lights scattered, they take some ground and move closer]

[They hiss at him, long fingers braving the light, shriveling but still trying to reach past him]
