I'm a good student.
All I think about is comic books and all that lovin' I'm not getting. Also ancient peoples, because I am up to my eyeballz in them. I know a lot about Jews, Vikings, ancient Irish people (who may or may not have been Celts) and their predecessors, Picts, Babylonians, Akkadians, ancient Greeks and Romans, and angels. Daang.
So finals are basically starting now, and I get back to Austin on December 14th, so if you wanna hang out...call me. I hear from multiple sources that Austin is weird now. Gimme a warm welcome, anyway.
Then Pittsburgh, then back here for my last semester of Div II (which means nothing to most of you, but it means that next year is my last year of college. who feels old now?).
Then this coming summer I will hopefully have an internship in new york at Marvel, fingers crossed, hopefully in the fucking X-Men office (in which case I will owe someone a huge favor, and get your mind out of the gutter). Life roolz.
Then next year, at which point I will have in all likelihood established close ties with Marvel and secured a job for when I graduate. I will work with comics while attending grad school in the city, studying anthropological archeology and ancient mid-eastern languages. Then the travelling. Then the glory. Then the fame.
I'm sort of awesome. Look what I'm doing!
Also, have I mentioned my amazing boyfriend lately? Thanksgiving in Maine was wonderful. I'm treated real nice.
