i sat down with a lesbian couple at pride to smoke a cigarette and i told brett "this will change our lives forever." we've been obsessing over the butterfly effect lately. well something of that sort anyway, not quite.
i know that if we didn't sit done with that couple, we would have beat the rain walking back to the truck. we had so much fun in the rain! it was pouring! the first five minutes brett didn't want to get wet but after we were swimming in it, we just started skipping around and waving at the people in their cars because we knew they were thinking "haha, sucks to be them." little did they know we were loving it.
if we didn't sit down with that lesbian couple to smoke a cigarette, i would have gotten jamie's phone call while we were heading back to kennesaw, and we wouldn't have been able to pick him up from his tech dorm. he wouldn't have spent the night, and i wouldn't have gone to the movies, chinese buddha, or played DDR.
i also wouldn't have gotten a 7 seconds cd and a tony bennett cd AT THE SAME TIME.
i wonder what i would be doing right now if i just didn't smoke that cigarette.
