(no subject)
2nd wedding anniversary!
We left Felix with my parents (first time away from us overnight. I don't think he missed us at all!) and went to Red Wing, Minnesota. Red Wing is where Red Wing shoes are made, and is a really pretty little town. We spent most of the day going on various hikes up the bluffs and through some woods and prairies. This is bald eagle country and we were lucky to see a couple that swooped in to land on a tree right where we were sitting (of course, I didn't have my camera out at the time). It was a perfect day weather wise and just overall really great. It's been such a long time since C and I have had time to ourselves and it was much needed and appreciated. I can't believe I've been married to this dreamy dude for two years!

Stuffing my face with chocolate covered pretzels watching cable (we don't have cable, so it was a treat. We mainly watched shows about drugs, prisons, or home design)

I wore a nice anniversary dress even though we just had food brought to our room. We had a hot tub in the room, and recreational vicodin, so. You know.
It was hard coming back to the city. We need to get out of it much more.
