Is it disturbing that I had a huge crush on Gambit from the cartoon?
Hahaha! Envy me, puny mortals. After days of downloading, I finally have what appears to be all the episodes of the 90s X-Men cartoon. Sweet.
You know what else recently finished downloading? All the episodes of Brisco County Jr.. I loves me some Bruce Campbell. In a cowboy hat. And why did no one inform me that this show was coming out on DVD on July 18th? Well, screw the $70, I'll stick with what I've got.
Like I need yet another thing to watch.
My mom and I saw The Devil Wears Prada yesterday. It was okay. I didn't expect anything great. Made me really want to work for a fashion magazine. If you've ever wondering about my fashion-sense, take the main character as she is at the beginning of the movie, replace her sort of preppy clothes with jeans and witty t-shirts and that's me. Well, sort of. She definitely has a much better work ethic than I do.
We got a preview for Running with Scissors which looks like it might be amusing.
I may have reached the peak of my lethargic summer state today. I've just been wasting my days away watching hours of pointless entertainment, sometimes breaking into the watching time with some reading. I might be motivated to actually move around if we had air conditioning, but as it stands, it's my 24th summer of sweating to death in front of a fan that is only blowing hot air at me. Maybe I'll go swimming. But that requires movement. And there is my dilemma.
To move or not to move, that is the question.
If only all problems in life were as complicated as this.
