I almost got pulled over during my last drive to Waverly, aka the devil's town. I was doing 70+ in a 60 zone, and the highway patrol car was going the other direction...I immediately slowed and he went around the curve, so I thought I was safe. then he appeared in my rearview mirror and turned on the lights. I started freaking out and my mom was like "just pull over already!" so I did, then he got out of his car and came up to ours and said "I just happened to turn on the radar and see you were going 72 back there..." so I tried to put on my Charming Face (complete with limpid eyes) and claimed I didn't know how fast I was going, blah blah. then he said "ok, well, I just wanted to let you know this is a 60 mph zone. good afternoon." then he got in his car and waited for me to leave (heh). I dunno if he saw the guy in front of me was going faster, or if he was just in a generous mood--either way, huzzah.

my poor driving guardian angel (car-dian angel?) must have been working overtime that day.

My car-dian angel is thoroughly exhausted every day. I feel kind of bad about that.

It always annoys me when I get pulled over and the people in front of me are going faster than I am. Grrr.

I will have to try this Charming Face and "I didn't know how fast I was going" thing.

my Charming Face doesn't usually fool anyone. of course, I only try it on people who know me well. perhaps this shows I should only attempt a Charming Faces on strangers?

I find that most people I meet typically think I'm sweet, because I'm quiet. They're always surprised when they start to get to know me better.

It only goes to show, never trust the quiet ones.
