I feel rather productive today. I got up at 9, watched The OC from this past week, cleaned McGee's cage while he "helped" by sitting on my head and shoulder (randomly attacking my face), vacuumed the room where the bird's cage is and then I cleaned and vacuumed my room. That was followed by a shower, watching an amusing episode of Frasier with my mom and here I am. Go me. I might even be tempted to do my lesson planning today instead of waiting until Sunday night.
Yes, those are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse you see riding by your house.
In other news, I had registered for a six-week astronomy class through the local adult night school thingie. It's not for credits of anything. It was just an hour and a half for six Monday nights, but it's now been cancelled. The instuctor was injured or something. I'm torn between being bummed about it and being relieved. I have wanted to take it and will surely register for it again next time, but I'm also feeling tired and just waiting for summer so I can rest and relax fully.
Ellie and I saw Tristram Shady: A Cock and Bull Story last night. Neither of us had any idea what it was about but we went anyway because it's playing at this little theater that plays all the artsy movies and it got 4 stars. I still have no idea what it was about. It had funny bits, but it wasn't an actual movie. It was like a "documentary" about the making of this movie, but not really. It was strange.
Today will hopefully include a trip to IKEA because I need some storage boxes for my room. I'm in one of my very rare "must organize everything!" moods. I need to embrace it before it leaves again.
