Here's my week. It's fun. Or something.

Monday morning: due to insane fog outside and my car windows being completely fogged up and my head not being on straight and the fact it was Monday morning, I backed into my brother's car which was parked behind me. Not a fun thing to do at 6:15am on a Monday. Thankfully I was going veryveryvery slowly and there was no damage, but what a great way to start the week.

Monday Evening: stalked Krop on her date at a diner. Ellie and I are such good stalkers that we completely forgot about Krop while we were eating in the diner that we didn't even notice when they got up and left. Go us.

Tuesday: Day One of standardized testing in second grade. Oodles of fun.

Tuesday Evening: a couple hours spent being Krop's assistant while she took pictures. There were quesadillas and white hot chocolates involved.

Today: Day Two of standardized testing in second grade. More oodles of fun, although it wasn't such a bad day. One of my girls came running in this morning and put a paper bag on my desk. Inside were some brownies, a granola bar, some crackers and a card she made that said inside (complete with no punctuation and "are" instead of "our": Thank you for being nice to us sometimes you make are work fun and that is nice Thank you. Now I'm wondering, does that "sometimes" go with "being nice to us" or "make our work fun"?

Tomorrow: Last Day of those blasted tests, followed by babysitting. Woo.

Friday: I'm leaving school at lunchtime so we can beat the traffic and go visit my brother Pat in NY. St. Patrick's Day is finally on a Friday and I had actually sort of kind of maybe been feeling like hitting up a pub or something (which is interesting, considering I'm not social at all and I don't drink) but I guess it was the Irish in me saying, "Go flaunt your Irishness!" But we're hanging out with a Patrick who is not a saint. Maybe I'll convince them that they want to watch Goblet of Fire. Yes.

I have decided that I do not want to go to my Christology class tonight, so I'm skipping it. My mom doesn't know yet. She can't make me go! I refuse! The priest doesn't even take roll so he'd never miss me, except for the fact I'm the only person there under 40. Whatever.

Slacker month continues...

driving, christology class, terra nova, student presents, pat
