Lazy summer day
My baby was towed away this morning. I have lost another Honda, but do not fret, I am filled with hope that this one will be coming back to me. My dad was changing the spark plugs in The Egg (my car) a few days ago. Got three changed and then the fourth one decided to snap off in the engine. My dad couldn’t get it out because it’s frozen in there and we couldn’t drive it to the mechanic, so the tow truck came this morning to get it to the mechanic. I had flashbacks of last summer when my beloved Honda died. Sigh.
Spent my day watching some Buffy and finishing a Stephen King book in my lovely hammock outside. It was actually chilly and I found myself wishing I had a blanket. But as I am a lazy person, I suffered through the cold until I finished the book. I’m such a tragic hero that way.
Have to work 8am until noon tomorrow. Not bad. Only four hours and I’m sure it’ll go by fast. Had the store had a bad sales day today I would have had off tomorrow, but it was a good day. I’ll deal. I’ve got off Wednesday so all is well. And I basically have off on Thursday except for 2 1/2 hours of babysitting to do in the afternoon.
