Mmm, the air outside smells like flowers
Dealt with horrid woman at work yesterday with a smile. Of course there was muttering and cursing when she turned her back, but other than that, I was polite and helpful. Ignore the fact that I desperately wanted to claw her eyes out.
Shout out to shadykropsta for stopping by on her way home to say hello. I was sorting bags of tealights when I hear Po-tay-toes behind me. I’m like What the hell? and I turn around to find Krop. Very nice surprise.
Finished reading Edge of Reason yesterday. I recommend it. I laughed throughout the entire book. Any idea if there will be another Bridget Jones book?
Randomly went out late last night to the Crusty Squire for dessert. My chocolate mousse cake was kind of gross so I didn’t get to finish it. But the evening spawned me saying this:
I dare you to find a maple tree and suck it dry.
They found that to be very perverted so then I continued by saying:
Treebeard, Treebeard.
‘Twas amusing.
Despite that horrid sinking feeling I had yesterday that I would have to work today, I have off. I am working Monday and Tuesday 4-10pm. Yes, I have a major Poetry paper due Wednesday which I of course have not even started yet, but I couldn’t pass up on working Monday night because it meant that I didn’t have to work this coming Saturday. So I’ve got Easter weekend off which is lovely as Pat and Co. are supposed to be coming down sometime.
I think I only have three and a half weeks left of classes. Woah, where did the semester go? I’m going to be a Senior next semester. That is incredibly scary to think about. So I won’t.
Oooo! Pancakes and scrapple are calling my name.
