Supposed to be 71 degrees today!
Someone from work called last night and said I didn’t have to work today! I’m beyond thrilled.
We went to the mall last night and wandered into Hot Topic. Got myself this lovely black LotR t-shirt, a “ninja monkeys are meeting as we speak, plotting my demise” sticker, Care Bears mints (they come in a cute little tin box), and a “cute but psycho. things even out” pen with a cartoon bunny in a straight-jacket on it. We got free Rita’s Water Ice because for some reason a regular water ice was free yesterday. Nummy.
Saw our high school gym teacher in Chick-fil-a and she asked me if she could get a copy of a picture I took of teachers at my Senior Prom. I’ll never know how she remembers these things.
We had to wait for shadykropsta‘s sister to get her hair cut so we were sitting on a bench outside the hair place. That’s when I decided that we needed to play “1 2 3 He’s Yours” from Gilmore Girls. Basically you sit there and when the first guy walks by you, you can either keep him or pass. The same with the second guy. But if you pass on the second guy, the third guy is automatically yours. Much hilarity ensued, especially when the same two guys who were working on something in our area of the mall insisted on walking by every time it was my turn to go. It’s amazing how many non-attractive men are at the mall on a Thursday night. I think Ellie got the best guy though, he had a mullet.
We watched Black Hawk Down after the mall, in support of our troops and ate Oreos during the beginning. The Ewan and Orlando scene comes on and I was dancing Oreos around in front of me. Mmm, Oreo scene. Now I really want to read the book again.
Dude, MacGyver is on TV Land at midnight. We watched the beginning of an episode last night and I had forgotten about his mullet hair. I couldn’t look at him without busting out laughing. But I still want it to be put on DVD. The things that man could do with chewing gum and a pocket knife.
