50 Reasons Why LotR Sucks

Moving on...

I got kicked out of my Early Childhood class this morning, along with six or so other people. Why? Because we haven't yet been accepted into the Education Division and apparently last week the faculty got together and decided that those who haven't been accepted yet can't sit in on the Education classes until they are accepted because "Juniors and Seniors are wandering around without majors." It was irritating and annoying and confusing and pointless and stupid. So the seven of us went up to the Education Office to try to get this worked out and no one was there. We were told they would be in at 9am (we got there at 8:30) so we sat outside the office, cramped in this tiny hallway for over a half hour. 9am came and went and five of them left. So when someone showed up around 9:20am it was only me and another girl. So we talked to this guy and he walked back to the class with us to settle things with the teacher. It ended up that since I have all my application stuff in already, I just have to wait for them to review it during their Sept. 10th meeting that I'm okay to sit in the class.

So I missed over an hour of the class, but it turned out that I missed nothing at all. I'm not fond of the woman who teaches this class, but I'll deal. Eventually the other people who were kicked out showed up with their crud worked out and all was well. Well, well enough. I'm still ticked that they couldn't have told us right after their damn meeting what they decided, or better yet, told us that this will be enforced starting next semester, instead of telling us during the first day of class. It's a load of bullshit and things here just aren't run very well. One girl turned in all her things and they lost her file over the summer. Another girl was accepted into the Division last semester and got a letter the other day saying she hadn't applied yet. And the teacher who kicked us out had the nerve to say that they keep the records here very well.

Something I didn't need to happen right before my weekend.
