Movies galore

Watched In the Name of the Father. Excellent movie. Made me hate the British for two hours.

Watched Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The movie that made me hate clowns. I can see how it would scare a 5-6 year old kid, but now it’s beyond bad. It’s worse than Night of the Living Dead. It’s worse than Evil Dead. It’s worse than Road to El Dorado.

I wouldn’t buy it nor would I watch it again. I just had to see the one movie that has ever truly freaked me out. Let’s just say I think I’m cured.

Or not.

Clowns are still not funny. They should be done away with. Or they should all be replaced with Krusty the Clown.

Saw Signs on Friday with Briege. I really liked it. That’s how scary movies should be. No blood and lots of suspense. I don’t know how much Briege enjoyed it. I do know that it makes her scream.

*giggles*

Went down the shore yesterday. We passed a sign on the way down that said “Ewan Aura” and we both squealed. Hit the beach for a bit then the lovely rides. The majority of the people running the rides were adorable men with adorable accents. It always amazes me that foreigners come to Wildwood to work for the summer. On our way back home, we stopped at the “Ewan” sign at 12:15am and took two pictures. We’ve decided that whenever Ellie gets her film developed (which is never) we’ll send copies to Ewan. It might amuse him. We’ve also decided that we need to go to that Ewan place just for the hell of it.

Road trip!

And now for some sad news: my cheap Kmart watch has died. I jumped into the pool last week and realized in midair that I had it on. I took it off the moment I surfaced and thought it would be okay, but alas, it fogged up and died that night. I hope Kmart still has a watch like it for cheap. I feel naked without a watch.

I’m seeing LotR ads everywhere. I’m very excited for Tuesday. Even though I won’t be buying it until November when I get the 5 disc set, I will definitely be renting it.

wildwood, clowns are evil, movies, really cheesy movies, ewan nj
