I have been feeling lately as though I am in an eternal state of tiredness. Like I stumbled across a weird portal behind a bookcase and inadvertantly wandered through to an odd 3-D place because I wanted to hide from my evil sisters-in-law (if you're a Simpsons fan, you'll know what the heck I'm talking about). Yes, people say that's the state of a college student, but I wouldn't mind being a bit more rested every now and then.
I blame society. That's everyone else's scapegoat, why can't it be mine?
Anyway, the last few days have been lovely. Saturday I got my ticket for the noon show of LotR because I didn't think there were any midnight showings around here. Lo and behold, we hit the jackpot today. I saw Harry Potter again this afternoon and there were signs up at the theater that said they were going to have a midnight showing of LotR! So now I'm seeing LotR Tuesday at midnight and then Wednesday at noon. It'll be very nice. Good thing I decided ahead of time to take off work on 12/19.
I can't wait much longer for LotR to open! Raaarrr! And there's all these lovely specials on tv and people are on talk shows and it's just so lovely and every time I see a movie clip, I drool. I honestly drool, like a dog when it sees food. I have a spit problem...but you didn't care to know that, now did you.
Continuing on a LotR related topic, I only need eight more Burger King Kids Meal toys to complete my set (stop looking at me like I'm a total weirdo. I'm not a weirdo, I'm a freak, get it right). My goal right now is to get Boromir, Legolas, and Merry, which will complete my set of the Nine and then I'll work on the rest of the toys. But it seems like all the BKs around me don't have the ones I'm looking for. Sigh. I just hope I can get them before they stop giving out the toys. I also only need the Frodo glass goblet to complete my set. I was surprised that the goblets are actually glass and fairly heavy. If you don't find them thrilling, you can always keep it around as a handy weapong to bop someone on the head with. That's what I plan on doing...
Need to sleep now, but I think instead I'll reread more of Fellowship of the Ring. I can't for the life of me remember much about the book. I have the world's worst memory. I need to watch movies and read books at least twice to start to be able to remember things. Is there something I can do to make my brain better?
